ADELAIDA GUERRERO

Adelaida GuerreroShe began her first dancing classes when she was six. Her teacher was Loli Quesada and who gave classes in Alhambra School.

She had dancing lessons with the best teachers in Flamenco and Classic Spanish. Some of them were Rosa García, Enrique Burgos, Belén López, Cristina Anaola, Diana Tiscar, Belén Cabanas, Merche Esmeralda, Belén Maya, Eva “La Yerbabuena”, Paco Romero, “La China”, Belén Fernández,  Antonio y Cristóbal Reyes, Janos, Javier Baja, etc.

Adelaida has reached many of her objectives. For instance, she danced in different TV GALAS in Italy and in Ireland. She takes part FORMAR PARTE in Belen López’ dancing company, which head office is in Madrid, in “Atrapados por el arte” show and in “Cuando amanece”. Currently she takes part in Wonder Dance Company, and she dances in and outside our country, she is the responsible for the management and choreography of Alhambra’s ballet, she gives Flamenco classes and Spanish Classic in Alhambra’s dancing School.

ADRIÀ MÀDICO

Adrià MàdicoHe is Bboy since 2003, founder member of Realmente Lokos Crew (a group of bboying of Reus, which previously was RRB) and of the Hip hop Suicide People group.

He started dancing in streets, together with other people that nowadays are part of his group.

 Later, he took classes from the different Bboy’s , nationaly well-known               ( MaxOne – FootRock Kings, and Rudy – Lunaticks Crew). He attended to international Bboy’s workshops (Focus – Flow Mo, Scandinavia).

He is really interested in fundamental steps and rhythm, in fact he has been trainning by himself together with his group.

He has travelled and he has taken part in events and national and international championships:

  • Duel in the desert , 2007 and 2008, Almeria (Spain)
  • Underground Republic III and IV, Salamanca (Spain)
  • Battle of the Year Iberica, 2006 and 2007, Granollers (Spain)
  • Circle Kingz, 2006 and 2007, Lausanne (Switzerland)
  • I.B.E. The Notorious, 2005, Rotterdam (Holand)
  • U.K. Championship, 2006, London (United Kingdom)

 

He achieved good final scores in:

  • Breaking Tarraco 3, Crew vs. Crew ( 1st position with RLC)
  • Reus, “La Palma” lounge, Crew vs. Crew (semifinalists RLC)
  • Valencia, Face to face, Crew vs. Crew (quarterfinals with RLC)
  • Breakin Tarrako 5, Crew vs. Crew (semifinalists RLC)
  • Breakin Tarrako 6, 3 vs. 3, (semifinalists RLC)
  • Round Out 2007, 1 vs. 1(1st position in 1 vs 1 and in Footworks category)

He has been the choreographer responsible for Break shows, local parties, concerts, discotheques, carnivals, street shows, “Parcs de Nadal” (Christmas celebrations) in Reus, Tarragona, Alcover, Salou, Cambrils, etc.

He has also given lessons in different Dancing Schools and gymnasiums:

  • Gimnàs Studi 1, together with HHC, in Reus (2006-2007)
  • Nou Estil Dacing School, in Salou (summer 2007)
  • Gimnàs Anura, in Torredembarra. Sporadic lessons  (2007-2008)
  • Artis Dancing School, Reus. Sporadic lessons (2006-2007 and 2007-2008)
  • Mª Carme Fraga Dancing School, Reus. Sporadic lessons. (2007-2008)
  • Centre d’Arts Escèniques de Tarragona, Tarragona. Sporadic lessons (2007-2008)

At present, he is giving clases in Nou Estil Dancing School  and he dances in the dancing version of “El Mago de Oz”, a hip hop version (Bboying, New style, popping, Locking, etc.) in different hotels in Salou, La Pineda, Peñíscola, etc.

ADRIAN ALCAIDE

He began dancing in Latino’s modality when he was 7 years old. He professionally danced for his first time in the television programmes Bravo, bravísimo and Canciones de Nuestra Vida.

In 1994 he was competing in Sport’s Dance all around Spain. In order to acquire a good technique and dance quality, he began travelling and attending great professional’s classes.

He is able to combine Sport’s Dance with Flamenco and Classical Spanish Dance, learning from notable masters as Antonio Canales, Merche Esmeralda, Enrique Burgos, Rosa García, Belén Cabanes, Belén López and Joaquín Cortés.

When he was 15, he began giving lessons in Escuela Alhambra and, later, in other dance schools in Tarragona.

Since Adrián knows that dance is not only his hobby but his profession, he increased his dance knowledge learning Salsa form native teachers as Iván Hidalgo, Pototo, etc.

Nowadays, he gives Salsa classes at different levels and styles in Sala New York, Barcelona, Zaragoza, etc. He also acts in National and International Salsa Congresses. In fact, in 2006 he was taking part in West Coast Salsa Congress in Los Ángeles and in the television programme “Mira quien Baila”.
His most important virtue is that he enjoys with his audience that transmit him enthusiasm, with the improvisation and with the fact that he is never satisfied, that is why he is always willing to learn.   

CRISTIAN ALCAIDE

Cristian AlcaideHe started dancing diferents dancing modalities when he was only 9 years old.

In 1996, he started his career in the modality of Ballroom Dance and Latin Dance with some world-famous teachers like Joseph Roca, Regina Tarrago, Fredy Novar, Giordano Vanote, Tymoty, among others.

He managed great success:

  • Adult Championship I, standard and national challenge (2005).
  • Spanish representative in the Team Match International (2002-2005).
  • 4th position in the Spanish Championship 2005.
  • 1st position in the national ranking.
  • Semifinalist in the Latin Championship.
  • Finalist in the TV show competition Rising Star.
  • 1st position in the “Championsship Islandia” competition.

In fact, he has achieved more than 188 first positions along all his career and he has acquire a great experience.

In 2006 he withdrew from dancing competition to teach to his dancing couples and pupils and to put into practice all his dance knowledge at the same time he enjoy doing what he likes.


CARME Y EMILI

Carme y EmiliThey started dancing social dance in 1996, in New York School. They were Mrs.Loli Alcaide’s pupils. Mrs. Loli was their teacher and the current school’s holder.

In 2000 they started dancing BAILE DE COMPETICION, the standard modality and, in 2002, the latin modality.

They have been winners and finalists of many national Opens. They achieved the 1st position in the Salou’s Open in 2005 and, in 2006, they were semifinalists in Catalonia’s Championship of standard dances.

At present, they compete in A category of standard dances and in B category of latin dances.

They are still New York School’s pupils and they are trained by David Carrillo and Laia Benet.

JUAN Y SILVIA

Juan y SilviaTango is a ‘flesh dance’, with intertwined bodies and desire. It is a new dialogue, seduction in movement, a two worlds fusion.

Tango is danced in an embrace that can vary from very open, in which leader and follower connect at arms length, to very closed, in which the connection is chest-to-chest, or anywhere in between.

It is a sensually charged emotional dance between man and woman that could even reach passion in the performing.

DAMARIS VALDEPEÑAS ALCAIDE

Damaris valdepeñasShe began when she was 5 years old in classic ballet, contemporary, Classical Spanish dance and Flamenco.

When she was 15, she began to compete in Sport’s dancing, learning from great European and Spanish professionals as Yukka Happalainen, Sirpa Suutari, Heiko Klenbridge, Giselle Keeppel, Josep Roca, Regina Tarragó, Thimoty Hompson, etc.

She was only 17 when she started learning Hip Hop & Funk, Street Dance with Monitor Funk Hip Hop 2002 and dance professional instructor 2003. 

Damaris also received private classes from Irene Pallares and Marcos Martínez in 2004 and collective master classes’ formation as well as private classes in Los Ángeles, in the dance schools Millenium Dance Complex and The Edge Madonna Grimes in 2005, 2006 and 2007. In 2008, she was trained in Old School, Looking& Pooping classes.

 When she was 18, she began Classical Oriental Dance and Tribal. Those classes were given by a native Egyptian teacher.

She was 19 when she began Salsa with Afro-Cuban folklore native teachers. She learned Cuban Salsa, Casino Salsa Circle and Rumba in 2004 and 2005.

In 2006, she received Brazilian Samba classes with native teachers.

Nowadays, she spends her time learning, teaching, and dancing in shows and Salsa congresses.

Damaris loves travelling and meeting new cultures and her main satisfaction is the fact to be able to transmit all what she learns to her pupils.

LOLI ALCAIDE

Loli AlcaideLoli began dancing Sevillanas in Sevilla when she was just a child.

When she arrived to Reus, she enrolled in Escuela Artis.  From this moment on, she enters discovered a new world: Escuela Bolera, Classical Spanish dance, castanets, Flamenco...  Nothing was enough to relieve her thirst for learning.

Later on, she learned Jazz with Carmen Fraga and acted in different towns and discotheques. Then, she started teaching and betters herself in a professional way.

Loli started up a Classical Spanish and Flamenco Ballet “Loli Alcaide”, with Almudena Hernández, José de la Vega and her teacher’s collaboration, which provided her the chance to travel all around Spain.

It was thanks to her French friend that Loli discovered Ballroom Dance and attended Dances d’Arreu del Mon School with Marcos Sietas and she won the gold medal.

She also received classes from Josep Roca, Regina Tarrago, Heiko Kemblich, Gissela Kepplel, Thimoty Howson, etc.

I the course of her carrer, Loli Alcaide has obtained many achievements and titles:

  • Oficial Member (WDDSC)
  • Ballroom dance’s teacher  (Associate category)
  • Sports Dance Competition judge (A-international category)
  • Flamenco’s teacher, with her own Ballet in 1983-1993
  • Competition dancer, standard modality, 1993 -1997
  • 3rd position in Spanish Standard Dance Championship, 1997

She also danced in important channel’s programmes such as “Canciones de un Ayer” and “Boixos pel Ball”.

Since she has her own school, she wanted to try with Salsa dance and received Felo’s classes. Later on, she introduced Salsa, together with Iván Hidalgo from Cuba, in New York School, where there are constantly great dance professionals that delight us with their shows at the same time they give knowledge to our pupils and teachers.

MARC VIVES SORIA

Marc VivesHis formation in Break, Locking and Popping is based in:

  • a Locking and Popping course with Popper Salah, who is a world famous dancer.
  • Popping courses by L’Agence Dance floor  in Paris.
  • A Locking and Popping course with Kanga (Style) and a Locking and House dance course with Misty-k and Maxone.
  • Locking and Breaking lessons with Bboy Rudy (Lunatics Crew), Bboy Fran (Addictos) and Bboy Fast (Colombia).

 

In 2003 he began to expand his artistic career achieving titles such as : 

  • 1st place in the Brecha Provincial Break Dance Championship in Reus, 2 vs. 2 category (2003).
  • 1st place in the Ciudad de Lleida Break Dance Championship,

2 vs. 2 category (2004).
-          2nd place in the Hip Hop Orthos Championship in Tarragona (2006).

He is also a co-founder and teacher of the Hip Hop Culture School in Reus, Studi 1, as well as the Breaking, Locking and Popping teacher.

            He has danced in many championships and Breaking exhibitions at a provincial and national level.

He also gives lessons in different schools, gyms, and cultural associations in the province . But above all, what he does is Breaking, Locking and Popping.
